Plaintive.

In the next life I will not have, I want to be a guinea pig owned by kind loving doting owners. I want to bury my small warm self in hay and munch fresh vegetables and be petted and cuddled. I want people to refrain from loud noises because they don't want to upset me. I want to curl in comfort. I think I would trade all my uncomfortable knowledge and agency and choices for a short happy life in a softly lined cage.

Okay, I probably wouldn't at most moments of my life. But right now I would.

Being a pet bunny with a loving owner is just about the same thing, only bunnies are cuter :-)

Bunnies are adorable, but too athletic and too nervous. I want to be a tribble without the constant birth, and guinea pigs are the closest currently on our planet.

I just want to be warm and unthinking.
I'm so tired.

Bunnies aren't all that athletic; like cats, they sit or lie there watching things, or just sleeping, a lot of the time. They aren't brilliant conversationalists, but they are great listeners. (I had bunnies as members of my household for a long time, and I still miss them.)

But don't let my opinions influence your choice of what form you'd like to be reincarnated into! :-)
(I don't plan on dying, but if I do, I want to place my consciousness into a robustly designed supercomputer. No, that is not a joke.)

Guinea pigs are very sweet. They smell good, like hay. And if they're hairless for some reason, they look like tiny hippos.

I hope you get some good quiet, comfortable space to be petted and cuddled and eat good food soon in this life. You need and deserve it.

Guinea pigs have quite peaceful lives. (I mean, not in the wild.)

They chill, they get excited over food, sometimes they popcorn (jump up and down a few times in a distinctive style) if excited... eat a lot. Get scritched by their people.

I am glad I am not the only one to catch the undercurrent of unhappiness and weariness in your post. May such feelings be quickly fleeing and slow returning.

I totally get this. You could also make adorable squeaking noises if you so chose. I'd go for being a bunny myself, but I get why you wouldn't.

I think it is quite possible that there will be a next life, and a happy one ;)

A well-loved housecat is better than a guinea pig, I think...longer lifespan, more fun things to do...
