All Bivalve Dinner

Mr RedTed showed up to see me! And gave me gifts from Fuzcat and a hilarious joke gift from himself! And fed me dinner at the Summer Shack! Where I consumed a battalion of bivalves! And I got to SEE him!

I wish I could make things better for him and his mom. I can't at all. But I got to see him and that was awesome.

Oysters, mussels, and scallops.

The oysters were gloriously raw, the mussels were steamed, and the scallops delicately fried. EEEEEe.

Oh that sounds absolutely lovely. I haven't had raw oysters in forever. So so so good. I love all seafood so much.

Te and I are planning a somewhat similar feast for our anniversary next week. Whole-belly fried clams will definitely be on the menu, and some scallops may be as well... and we might have some raw fish too, but we have difficulty limiting our spending if we get any sushi at all, so we might forgo that this time around.
