Date: 2021-11-08 09:12 pm (UTC)I can't vote for (1) because even though I love rose-flavored things, Te can rarely stand to be in the same room with them (an exception is jallab, and she always wants jallab syrup in our middle-eastern-inspired bbq sauce for when I make lamb ribs -- which, yes, can be made kosher provided you have access to a kosher butcher shop that either sells 'lamb breast' regularly or takes custom orders; hmu if you want the recipe).
I love the purism of (2) but my experience with edible papers has been that while they are edible, they are not necessarily tasty.
I guess that leaves (3) OH NOES NOT THE TENTACLES, WHO WILL SAVE ME?? (Also Te and I are both very fond of hibiscus-flavored anything.) I don't know how strongly-flavored either the candied hibiscus or the sakura powder are, so it might be tricky balancing the proportions so neither dominates, unless you want one to do so...
