Art Post: Redraw of Nuut and Sopdet

So I had Grand Plans for this redraw. I really wanted to make the embroidery intricate and "in scale", but I did a test panel, and it's a good thing I did. My fingers nearly fell off and the results looked like a polka dot pattern and not embroidered crystals. Also, the Queen's Uraeus (cobra headdress) looked like a blob. So I settled for a more symbolic, hopefully evocative style.

I considered adding to Whom they offered incense but I like the Mysterious Light instead. What do you think?

Nice decisions! The in-scale intention would work beautifully if we humans had zoom-lens eyes....

Great redraw! I like how the two subjects stand alone on their own, too, instead of being pressed together.

It's the shrink plastic. It's a pity I don't have any more of that kind.
