So is Pennsylvania, which alone was enough to hand Biden the election.

I'M JUST SITTING HERE BOGGLING

If someone had asked me like for days what scenario I thought would be happening it would NOT have been "Georgia turns blue and also possible flips the US Senate through runoffs"

!!!

SERIOUSLY

also wasn't it like ONE WEEK ago that we were all freaking out that Stepford Manchurian SC Justice was going to throw the election to Trump if he asked nicely? and now all the legal experts on TV are like "PFFFFFFFFFT"

It's very very helpful that more than one state has been having close (but legit) counts, and that none of the Trump legal team can apparently find their arses with their elbow. (Which is, now that I think about it, a weird phrase.)

But YES wow, what a difference a week makes.

Oh man, on MSNBC after Giuliani was making that painfully incoherent statement, all the commentators were basically like "RUDY GONNA RUDY, LOL" and "When your lead counsel is Rudy Giuliani...." Which just trips me right the fuck out because I remember when he was crowned Basically Our President when Shrub was hiding in the bunker after 9/11. Talk about a long fall!

Oh yes, it's been a very entertaining plummet! It's just wild because I remember when we were all supposed to LOVE him.

It is a weird phrase. I think it may be a mashup of "tell the difference between their arse and their elbow" and a more-plausible "find their arses with..."?

One also notes that they seem to be having little trouble finding their arses with their foreheads, though. Speaking of somewhat odd phrases.

Yeah, I've usually heard either 'tell their ass from their elbow' (or 'tell their ass from a hole in the ground') or 'can't find their ass with both hands and a flashlight'.

If she can pull off a second Georgia miracle, we could even get the Senate!

Did you know she also writes romance novels? I have some but haven't read them yet.

Thanks! The senator-elect used to carry on about how he was a geologist so Fracking Is Perfectly Safe while ignoring states by the USGS, but he's certainly better than Gardner.

My drinking game on Election night was drinking every time Georgia flipped. I ended up swigging directly from the local small distillery mixed gin cocktail bottle when Georgia flipped 3x in 5 minutes.

And yes, Passover 4 cups of wine has me very drunk. 🤣👍🙏🧐😜

This is a terrible time not to be able to throw blowout parties. She deserves them.

New York state used to have WAY more Electoral College votes than it has now, but a lot of New Yorkers moved to the sunbelt. First Virginia went blue, then Arizona, and now Georgia!
