I learned something about my computer

Yesterday my computer froze. It's a MacBook so I knew I needed to press the start button to get it to reboot. Except....

It has a Touch Bar (kind of a mini touch screen) for 'temporary'/program specific buttons, and the start button is at the end of that Touch Bar. So I thought it was such a temporary button and couldn't be used if the computer was non responsive.

WD and TL kindly figured out for me (as I had to deal with work) that there's an actual button there. It's the size of Tinkerbell's pinky fingernail, but it's there.

Whee.

Well, and there were two keys that had to be held down at the same time to force it to turn off while frozen.

And this is why I don't like Apple. Slick industrial design trumps usability. Who would ever need a power button? Those are for plebs. Our computers don't crash.
