Art Post: Cities In Her Eyes

Over at drawesome (which is the BEst Thing Ever and I adore it) the current challenge is ones fifth interest. Mine is cities, and this is what I did with it, two versions.





AMusingly, the cities themselves are incorporated art by others (I knew I couldn't draw a clip-art style city better than what already existed).

I wish I had the kind of dedication to do regular drawing memes. I feel like I'd improve as an artist if I were back to drawing daily.

I particularly like the second one. It's a cool idea you put into action for going about the prompt. Lovely!

What a wonderful image! (I've lived either in the city, or with it "just over the horizon", all my life.) BTW, did you know that many Goddesses were portrayed with mural crowns, representing the walls of a city or citadel, and later the "skyline" of the city itself?

So now I have two images of Goddesses that express some of the ways I feel: the Galaxy Goddess, with stars and galaxies in Her eyes, and the City Goddess, with the city itself in Her eyes. Thank you!

Oh goodness, a mural crown would have worked well here too, but all told I'm satisfied with what I did here, especially since you liked it. :D
