The one in color really shows off the recursion, with the red in contrast with the black/white. (And the off-the-shoulder design is adorable.) I, too, love the cat design that echoes the yin-yang circle. I get a sense that the circles (or the goddess) are driving the recursion and the cats are just along for the ride. The red/blue gradient works extremely well, also.
