7. Have you ever called in sick to work when you weren't actually ill but didn't want to give the real reason?

It depends on what we mean by 'sick'. I have spent the last few years accepting that I need mental as well as physical sick days, and having jobs I hated exacerbated that.

8. Have you ever talked to yourself out loud in public?

Ahahhaahhaah. I talk to myself all the time, being an only child. Public, private, whatever.

BTW, I'm getting my questions from gingicat's list here. Her answers are really interesting, but then she generally is.

Hee. I talk to myself much of the time, in supermarkets and at home and other places (not many other places this summer) and I'm one of three sisters. It was fine when I was a blithe young eccentric, but now I'm old enough to present as a muttery old lady presumed to be deaf, and I'm trying to control it a bit.

I talk to myself all the time too. I'm not an only child, but I do it anyway. I live with other people who also talk to themselves, which is occasionally confusing but mostly quite nice.

7. I believe the technical term is Mental Health Day Off. And yes, I racked up my share of those in my "productive" years.

8. Yeah. a) I am an only child too. b) I try to keep it to a low mutter, at least in public.
