minoanmissSo I wrote a story. It is short and very, very grim. I wrote it to answer a question I had, and because a fic challenge gave me an excuse to do so.
So far I have six comments, all positive, all intelligent, whose authors saw what I was going for in this story and praised me for my attempt. In this fandom age of antis and other censorious foolishness, these comments really pleased and satisfied me, atop the consistent delight of being understood.
Moments like this are why fan writers spend so many many hours banging our heads against all the hard surfaces that surround our computers.
