There once was a whole little "musical" about Cthulhu Christmas, but apparently the video was taken down - I can't find it. But sometimes there's so much Baby Jesus and Santa Claus it turns my stomach, like drinking a quart of eggnog :-)
I've never actually read Lovecraft. My mind is good at holding onto bad or scary things, so it's always seemed like a good idea not to put Lovecraft into it. :-)
Honestly, I think his ideas are better than his execution. His prose style is really fervid and a lot of his works are hellaciously racist. But the whole spooky elder-god world-behind-the-world mythos leads to some fun stuff, as can be heard in these jolly scary carols!
Oh, how I love those titles in the upper right sidebar. One thing I don't think I saw was Himself's name in them. Which is probably a good thing. As experienced aficionados of Himself know, "If you misspell it, He will come."
With a MASSFILC house filk tomorrow, maybe I should brush up on bnewman's "Antarctica".
