Ballot measure results.
MA voted Yes on 3, so we are keeping our law protecting transgender people, and Florida [apparently -- all I've found so far are tweets] voted Yes on 4, to restore voting rights to over a million people with past felony convictions. (I hope now someone can get that poor woman out of jail, the one who got sentenced to 5 years for voting.)
I know these are not everything or even most things but they are both definitely something.

Date: 2018-11-09 12:16 pm (UTC)But I keep thinking how when I was pastoring and preached on imprisonment, it turned out not to be controversial, and people came up afterward to tell me about their imprisoned relatives.
So an advantage of decades of farming Prison Country is that there are a lot of voters who aren't flat ignorant.
