Look at the trouble this world’s got in

Every woman wants to be heard
To be seen, to be the queen of her destiny
What we mean is respect, an honest paycheck
Not a buck for 80 cents,
That’s not right, not fair
Equal work should mean an equal share
Equal rights, an equal life, an equal share

Every woman wants to be loved
to be strong, to belong, to be touched
But a “yes” means a “yes”, that’s consent

When bullies take what they believe is theirs
