Being me, I drew two, chosen for culinary relevance, with ladies added.

I do love mermaids. I should draw more of them.

I really like the mermaid's scales and that the Minoan woman is breastfeeding. :)

I should draw more breast-feeding ladies. I do not understand the US cultural aversion thereof.

Oh this is a complex one.

The short answer is that there are things I do for love and things I do for money.

the long answer is that I did sell some of my magnets in a couple of convention art shows, and it was more trouble than it was worth.

It's a sensible thought -- I just have explored the possibility and found it didn't fit me.

These are lovely. Women taking care of each other and loving on each other. The green fairy adoring the purple fairy--who may be concentrating on the task or blushing. The Caribbean aqua water and just the whole color composition of the Minoan one with a great date palm.

Thank you! I am so people-focused that even when I drew a tree I had to center the people interacting with it.

I love the mythical creature solidarity, the fairies helping the mermaid to get some fruit! And the Minoan date picture (hehe) is lovely. I'm thinking the last twilight feeding of the baby, and then the mother can get her own time when the tiny one is asleep :)

Heh, that's a coconut tree!

But the next one down is a date tree, the one with the lady breastfeeding and being fed a fresh date by the other lady.

I'd guessed that it was a coconut tree - maybe a pair of their fairy-village teens are practicing on the other tree, and out on a date....
