I was talking about politics with my friend SdL last night. You've heard me saying that I think a lot of people are going to die before the other half of the country wakes up. She said she thinks something catastrophic has to happen first.

I am terribly afraid she's right.

Shooting off his mouth isn't a high crime or misdemeanor.

He has an image he’s trying very hard to project (and protect), which is that he’s carefree and loving life. But that doesn’t jibe with all the hyperventilating rage he’s been doing on his social media. The dude is actually in a tailspin, both over his court losses and over his unheard-of low approval. A majority of Republicans are now disapproving of how he’s handled almost everything, in addition to the expected Democratic disapproval. The thing that matters most to Trump is the validation he gets from adulation, and he’s losing that fast.

So don’t read too much into anything he says here. He’s no different than any animal hiding an injury around its predators.
