On Wednesday afternoon, April 2, President Donald Trump had a visitor in the White House Oval Office: far-right conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer, a self-described "proud Islamophobe" who is controversial even among fellow Trump supporters.

I am a big fan of diversity, inclusiveness, and hiring QUALIFIED people for any job they have the skills to do. "Infinite diversity in infinite combinations!" - and a drag queen in a wheelchair may be a whiz at computer programming. So demanding that various agencies - and even organizations outside the US who do business with the US government - remove all mention of diversity, affirmative action, and inclusive hiring - makes me want to smash things.

The first time I saw Levitt's photo I said she looked like a recent high school graduate applying for a job as an airline flight attendant.
