I think he's supposed to be unstuck in time, so he's dressing in a way that blends in with the people around him. I remember reading that the plot is that Odysseus is still trying to get home, but he couldn't accomplish that in his lifetime, so he gets to wander through history until he finds his way. (It's not a movie I intend to watch.)

If he's unstuck in time, then it's really time to look at a map to find the way home. (and if he is, I assume his wife is also? or does he have to get back to the right place and time, which has me thinking Time Bandits thoughts....).

Billy Zane is ancestrally Greek (grandparents were the immigrants?). There was a PBS show about Greek Americans years ago in which he and his sister Lisa waxed nostalgic about their grandmother and her dolmades.

Russell Crowe is apparently being busy chewing on a pipe and maltreating employees in another movie, but/and I agree with you and I like Matt Damon as an actor.

I'm a grudge holder, I know, and also he dances very well, but Tom Holland has never been my Spider-man since his shock-and-horror response to the (canonical) idea of Peter Parker being Jewish, and I would honestly rather see Elliot Page as Telemachus.
