When I was learning how to cook on a wood-burning stove, I tried to chop some firewood. I couldn't even lift the axe off the ground. My strength is in my mind and the dexterity of my hands, not in that kind of muscle. But I respect women who have that kind of strength. And I've seen women blacksmiths at work; the one time I got to try blacksmithing, I likewise couldn't lift or swing the hammer effectively.
