I got both my errands done with an extra. I managed to not destroy the chili I made for the Watertown Community Fridge (80 Mt. Auburn St. Watertown MA) so I packed it up into little labeled containers and toted them and a bag of cheese sticks over to the Fridge. I didn't quite get to evaluate the things I left the last time because a lady was there investigating the fridge. There were a lot of meals in it, yay! Also a half-eaten cake with a fork stuck in it, BOO. Next time I bring stuff I will bring a trash bag to remove such items.
She didn't want any chili but delightedly took the cheese sticks. I had meant to open the bag, take two to eat, and leave the rest disambiguated, but it's not like I was going to do that before giving them to her. ANd she waved to me as she drove off. (I'm a storyteller. I can imagine 3 or 4 different reasons why a lady with a nice car can use a boost to her food intake)
Next time I'm making hortorizo with feta. I haven't made that in way too long and it scales up really well. There should be plenty for both my household and the Community Fridge.
ANyway from there I went to my cornea appt, was examined by a lovely man (I need to tell Dr A the newest set of lenses improved my vision notably), and then met with my cornea doctor K. It's so good to have a doctor whom I can tell, "Current Events are stressing me out and this is how that's affecting my health." In his medical opinion he advised me to limit my exposure to social media, heh, and he praised RK and WD for helping me take care of myself. And as a dad he delighted in the stickers I brought for his daughters. It's under his care I was able to resume making art, so of course!
After the appointment I crashed. I had to sit down twice while walking through the hospital to the T stop exit. While I waited for the bus a Loud Boy announced that it was his friend's birthday and he had her diarrhea pills. *laugh* When I was getting off the bus I gave her a sticker and told her happy birthday. She looked a little stunned. Hee. Unexpected bounty!
Now I am home and have eaten a solid meal. I am going to take out my lenses and take a nap.

Yeah, a Greek recipe I got from Diane Kochilas. Greens, rice, olive oil, water, wine, garlic, and feta. It's really good and I haven't made it in way too long.
