I am completely confused as to how hiring practices affected the weather patterns - somehow I didn't know DEI had the power to control rainfall levels or winds; clearly, I needed to be edumacated

Umm…isn’t the refusal to let Indigenous people continue their established land-management practices (including controlled burning to refresh the vegetation cycle) part of the reason for the upsurge in wildfires?

I thought that we'd seen the back of the ultra-conservative tinfoil hat crowd back when 45 left office. Nope, they're hanging on more tenaciously than black mold.

It's all finger-pointing and "alternative facts" and I don't want to TRY to understand their mindset.

My understanding is that TFG did very well among men aged 18-25--you know, the ones who spent their teen years falling down the alt-right rabbit hole, reading 4chan and listening to "manosphere" podcasters like Andrew Tate. So there's a fresh supply of deplorables. :(

Sigh. Sadly, having raised two teenage boys, I can see how their tendency to fixate and deep dive on topics can lead to conversions.
