GOP senator introduces bill to legally erase transgender people

I keep seeing conservatives crowing that this election proves that Democrats need to "give up on far left ideology" and "concentrate on working class economics". But all I've seen the Republicans working on since the election is blocking judge appointments and making transphobia law. So what is it, Elephants? Are we stopping fighting about people's rights, or are we not? Or are Democrats supposed to shut up and let you strip people of their rights?
