I suppose learnign the term "accelerationist" is useful, if also horrifying.

If I went through my Tumblr killfile blocklist (which I will not do) I think it would be 50/50 bigots/conservatives (who never have any actual arguments, just insults) and self-proclaimed leftists who accuse everyone who disagrees with them of being a fan of genocide and that's where their arguments stop (much the way antis accuse everyone who disagrees with them of being a pedophile... hmm.) People are exhausting. I shouldn't wade through so much crap just for the happy moments when people tell off both groups.

I do love it whenever people point out that the concept of The Revolution has become a secular Rapture, though. Fundamentalist Christianity wearing a Phyrgian cap!

Once again I want to write about a whole bunch of sociopolitical bullshit and instead am merely writing about my reaction to it because I don't want to debate it. I don't know how I'm going to get through the next week except that at least I see it coming. This week exhausted me so much I woke up shaking on Tuesday and had to call out in the morning. But I will make it through somehow.

Funny how you can often guess fairly well which God (and according to which sect, denomination, and place of worship) an atheist doesn’t believe in—-which is to say that the reflexes of one’s nursery belief system color one’s thought processes thereafter. (The need to proselytize, for example.)

Yeah, there's a space I visit run by someone I respect greatly that would call me a genocide apologist if I said anything but what the leader says. They are lambasting Kamala Harris because of her policy plans for the Middle East, but what would they expect from the narcissistic orange shitgibbon?

My response is vote to Harris. I've already written both my Senators telling them to get their shit together no matter who wins next week.

Well, if The Higher Power is omniscient and omnipresent, then, IMHO, it is logical that swearing be permitted, as the said Power is aware of one's thoughts anyway :P
