THIS asshole again. Misogyny and islamophobia mention. I meant to write about his Islamophobic attack the other day on an Arab-American activist, but losst my notes. And now here he is again saying women refugees from Hurricane Helene "don't care about tampons".

To be obvious, women in a crisis who have lost all their resources do not need to add to the fun by becoming covered in blood. We do very much care about tampons and other such supplies. (I should really say "people who menstruate" here, as well.)

How does a man who's presumably not lived a monastic life say something this counterfactual? And why will it help him get re-elected? AUGH.

Oh, it's because he's ignorant and doesn't care. And perhaps only wants to think about personal daintiness. (I love that phrase. It always makes me think of perfumed sewage.)
