J.E.J. narrated a handful of fiction and then a lot of the Bible, several times which makes sense because he sure sounded like the Voice of The World

My parents obtained some recordings of his narrating the Bible and played them for my Sunday School. And because we are who we are, made a point of pointing out that Mr. Jones is Black to all we little Black kids growing up in NYC in the 1980s. I think that may have made a difference.
