In the waiting room for spatch's doctor's appointment this afternoon (which went well, for the record) I overheard two women talking about the media coverage of the shooting and they were specifically fuming about the way the shooter's one-time fifteen-dollar progressive donation three and a half years ago when he wasn't even old enough to vote is being treated as more politically telling than the fact that he was enrolled with and voted for the Republican Party right up till he died. One of them finally burst out, "It's like the one-drop rule!" Which, agh, but.
Ah yes, the sane dude who claims breastfeeding is like pissing in public, as if urine is in any way analogous to milk and feeding a child is in any way analogous to spraying your stinking, biohazardous waste everywhere.
His reaction to Trump being shot was all about how terrible it was for liberals to do this, at length, ad nauseam, and probably deliberately ignoring the actual political identity of the shooter.
