Maybe my field draws people that are more cautious than in other science fields, but you don’t see cancer researchers drinking cancer cells to see what happens.
I *think* they mean "this water has not been in contact with any other water or significantly gone anywhere since [time]" when they're talking about its age. Also, looking more closely at the website, I think I need to find proof this even happened. The cold I have had me pretty zonked this morning.
