Elseweb I recently reblogged Neil Gaiman's "[respond to misfortune:]Make Good Art". Then after rather a day, I could not sleep, so I finished a silly drawing with a hopefully cute premise.



Also, I forgot to make a note here that I drew a picture for drawesome's most recent challenge, also not anything groundbreaking but hopefully amusing.

I am reminded of Sister Bernadette in Call the Midwife, delightedly but sadly listening in on the nurses.

(E has developed a deep admiration for CtM. It’s a deeply emotional show about people dealing with adversity and joy and love and so on... even the stories where people die are uplifting, and the stories with trauma end happily though not perfectly, in some way.)

I love adding that curve and its threedimensionality to my drawings. I like thinking of us as three-dimensional. :D

Love the celestial gals looking at the rainbow of (the haloed girl's?) life, it must've been a good one :D But NICE drawesome, making the most of the prompt motif!

Interesting! I was thinking of Halo Girl as the angel, all in black adn white, and Rainbow Girl as the soul, in vibrant color. And yeah, she did pretty well. :)
