minoanmiss: Theran girl gathering saffron (Saffron-Gatherer)

Finally a day I can consider productive, despite sleeping my usual weekend amount!

I washed, conditioned, and combed my hair, then wiped down th bathtub (Hair Day gets shed hair everywhere), and a couple hours later (ahaha) got up and hung up the rest of my bagged clothes. I have several pretty dresses I never unpacked last summer, ready to be worn this summer! Woot woot!

RK helped me with a personal task *grateful wave*, I put away today's midnight soup (bean & sausage) and set out with WD to visit WG, who is on hospice care. WD kindly fulfilled WG's request for sushi (note to self: next time order maki prix fixe so we can get vegetarian maki without sweet potato or avocado) and Smudge T. Cat tried to steal some of my nigiri, ahahahah. When P of WG's household asked me what books I've been reading I said, "amateur fiction because it can experiement, not needing to be published." ahahahahahbwee. All in all we had a lovely visit. I toy with telling my mother I'm using a childhood lesson she taught me, but I don't think I will.

When I got home I ran the dishwasher and have almost but not quite ameliorated the backlog. And now I am in bed considering how to decorate my lovely wardrobe and feeling, for the first time in awhile, like I fulfilled my day. I like that feeling.

Yay! I'm glad you found the day satisfying! And I hope that you can become more flexible in your appreciation, valuing things like rest and thinking about the universe, too. :)

If your wardrobe is made of the typical Ikea white-coated particle board, you can put stickers on it and you can peel them off easily if you need to. Or you can use BlueTak or Stickywax to attach larger picture to the surface.

It peels easily off of any relatively smooth surface. (Stickywax is stickier but harder to remove.) And you can always buy different knobs and pulls in any hardware store to give the item a different look. (Cabinet hardware has lots of fun artistic uses.)
