You know, I somehow missed the entire thing in real time. No idea what I was watching instead, but I only know it through cultural osmosis.

Most of it happened while I had babies and toddlers at home, which probably explains it. I wasn't watching any TV to speak of in those years. Except maybe Arthur or Clifford the Big Red Dog.

It's extra frustrating because the actors were really talented. Well-timed delivery and excellent physical comedy skills that I haven't seen outside of old comedies like Dick Van Dyke, Taxi, etc. But oh god that writing. 😩 Did you see this article last year where one of the author apologized for trans- and homophobic jokes as well as the lack of racial diversity?

Kid and I spent last night in an ER waiting room. Walking Dead was kind of surreal in that context, even though she's a fan! (She's home, with scary stuff ruled out and followup appointment tomorrow.)

At least in the vet ERs and vet urgent clinic waiting rooms we've been in recently there are typically no TVs!
