HAUTE COUTURE IN ANCIENT GREECE was an exhibition early last year at the Hellenic Museum in Melbourne. It would have been more accurately titled "Haute Couture in Bronze Age Greece" as it focused on Minoan and Mycenean clothing. I adore (and have learned from) what I've managed to read and look at online, and have even learned some things. But oh, I wish I'd seen it and that it had an exhibition catalogue (I can find no mention thereof).

With or without the time turner, I'd go with you - I went to Melbourne 1n 1999, hung out with a bunch of internet friends I'd made there, and had a wonderful time. It's an amazing city, and in some ways it reminded me of Boston. Except for the climate, you'd love it there.

I forgot to mention that there's a reasonably large Greek population in Melbourne - I don't remember why, but there is a Greek/Australian community (and Greek churches and Greek grocery stores and Greek restaurants), as well as a flourishing Orthodox Jewish community, in Melbourne. And there's a lot of public sculpture and weird architecture, and one form of "busking" involves people making chalk drawings on the sidewalk with a hat nearby for people to throw money into.
